Although I'll trade you the cold winters for warmer ones! lol. We haven't had any problems with either of the whips we've bought from you guys, they perform perfectly even in the cold weather. My father in law has at least one of your whips as well and I know he hasn't had any problems either. We do get quite cold temps, and I know my husband and father in law have used them in cold Alberta winters, easily -30 to -40. For that matter they work great to frighten loud, obnoxious, drunken campers as well! haha. Definitely no complaints here. I think your whips would be a huge hit in Southern Alberta!
Have a great day!

My whip has arrived this morning, and I´m very happy!! It´s great!! you people should be very proud of the work you have done. I want to thank you and your husband for every detail you have taken care of. I´m really pleased for having found your company on the internet, I don´t have anything but praises for you people! Well, once again thank you very, very much! and I hope to talk to you again in the future :-)

When I produced the first Edition of "Whip Basics - A Beginners Guide" the only whip I used for the shooting was - an 8 ft. Karaka whip; the wasp design. I'm asked very often what I think is a perfect whip for a beginner. My answer is always: "Karaka". These Karaka whips are not pretty wall hangers. They crack very easy and are more than forgiving. They are tough and last very - very! - long. In my seminars I always handle Karaka whips to the beginner students. For their qualities to perform under any imaginable circumstances. Wet grass, muddy grounds, snow, icy ground and so on. The Karaka whip is an excellent working whip and more than easy to handle. And - no... I was not paid to write that. You can always contact me to verify that. - Robert Amper, Whip Basics

Hello there- I have recently spent time shopping for a whip suitable for target / recreational use. As a youth, I spent many happy hours with this "hobby" and now wish to see if the interest is still there. For this experiment, I am searching for a whip that will provide good, supple performance without jumping into the deep end of the $ pool right off. My definition of good performance would be easily formed, lovely, long rolling loops. I have looked at a lot of the American 12 plait cowhide and various nylon whips and not seen anything that has spoken to me. Perhaps your synthetic material might meet my needs.

Hey! Carol! Please forgive my tardy response.... the whip arrived last weekend but due to this last week's out of control schedule, I've only had but a few very brief chances to "play" with it. However (and despite my lack of time to get adjusted to the weight), I want you to know that I am very pleased with my purchase! You were a total joy to work with and I thank you again. Chalk up one more happy customer! Very Best Regards..... Bob
